The Spiffy Club stands for Special People in Faith and Fraternity. Located at Saint Anastasia Parish, we were founded about thirty years ago by Sister Anita Regina, IHM at St. Eleanor’s Parish in Collegeville, PA. The Spiffy Club was started to fill a need to bring special/handicapped people together to share their experiences, joys, sorrows, concerns and lives with others. Sister Regina was transferred to St. Anastasia Parish and brought with her the desire to carry on Spiffy. A second chapter was begun here and will soon be celebrating our twentieth year.
We are a group with members of many different ages, some working, some in group homes, some still in school, coming from all over Delaware County. We meet on the third Saturday of the month, at 3:00 pm in the Rectory basement. We close each meeting with a prayer and optional assistance at the 5:15 pm Mass at St. Anastasia.
New members are always welcome. If you have any questions, fell free to call Kathy Hochhaus at 610-738-4841.
