Located in Center City Philadelphia, St. John’s Hospice is a Catholic Social Services shelter serving homeless men. It provides case management, medical assistance, counseling, mailroom services, temporary housing, shower facilities, clean clothing, and daily hot meals to the men. Saint Anastasia parishioners contribute to St. John’s mission by preparing or purchasing casseroles and donating clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food items, and money. Volunteer parishioners collect these items on the second Tuesday of each month in the lower school lobby. To assist us in serving the homeless, contact Deanna Stagliano (610-353-7972) or John Kyle (610-431-3881). Please visit St. John’s website: www.saintjohnshospice.org.
