The Hospitality Committee was created to help fulfill Saint Anastasia's Mission to become a more welcoming parish. Members host, or supervise host organizations, at social gatherings after Mass or other special parish events. There are several occasions from Fall to Spring for parishioners to gather for fellowship and free snacks. Throughout the year, after select Masses, a group provides lemonade, iced tea, and soft pretzels (Saturday evening Mass) or coffee, juice, and donuts (Sunday Masses). During Advent, the Hospitality Committee sponsors a wine and cheese social after Lessons and Carols. In the Spring, the Parish Pastoral Council recognizes New Parishioners at a reception after a Mass. Hospitality Committee members are responsible for setting up, assisting with serving, and cleaning up after these events.
